Jan Eeckhout

Economist and Author of The Profit Paradox

Jan Eechhout is not your average economist. After years of compelling research from green urbanisation, the redistribution of public goods, and the economics of work (scoring features in The Economist, WSJ, FT, NYT and Bloomberg, professorships from Princeton, UPenn and UCL) he shows no signs of stopping. In his most recent book, he goes against the ‘Caesars’ of today’s economy showing how the rise of mega-profitable superstar corporations makes us all poorer. His claims are unusual but Jan’s energetic, yet level-headed explanations do makes you wonder – have I’ve been seeing it all wrong until now?
