Nearly autonomous clothes, 3D printed human body parts, sneakers designed with artificial intelligence. This year's Brain Bar speakers are bringing the future to Budapest. Between 29-30 September 2022, Europe’s biggest festival on the future will open a time portal in a new venue, the multi-award-winning House of Music Hungary,

If you've been to Brain Bar, you know that we're not afraid of sensitive topics, taboos or heated debates. If you've never been to our festival, don't miss it this year, as we focus on the most important issues humanity is currently facing. Among other things, we will tackle together topics such as the manipulative influence of big tech companies and influencers on our generation, the changing concept of security in the 21st century and the future of the metaverse. You can discuss all of this with the world's leading masterminds!

This year's speakers include Canadian scientist and award-winning author Dan Breznitz, perhaps the most influential and powerful innovation driver of our time, who will debunk popular myths about innovation. At Brain Bar, you’ll meet Naomi Paxton, who creates brand new, unique body parts and internal organs using 3D printing. These printed tissues work perfectly well transplanted into the human body and this way they save lives. Greece's former leather-jacketed finance minister, the internationally acclaimed Yanis Varoufakis is preparing for Brain Bar with a passionate speech against the cryptocurrency utopia. The world-renowned Hungarian neuroscientist and author of best-selling science books Péter Érdi comes home from Michigan, especially for our festival. He offers hope in a world falling apart as he envisions a return of the culture of repair after the culture of disposability by the 2020s. You can see for yourself what the fashion of the future will look like: powered by your brain, but almost autonomous and health-conscious. At least, that's what futuristic fashion designer Anouk Wipprecht's robotic clothes are like, which you can see for the first time in Hungary at Brain Bar. Deanna Marsigliese, the Art Director of Pixar, and creator of Inside out and Toy Story will give a performance at our festival, that will transform our perception of the future of the film industry. We welcome Lysandre Follet among our speakers, a sneaker designer who calls artificial intelligence his partner in designing the shoes worn by professional athletes and loved and collected by the masses. He believes the computer opens up new creative channels. At Brain Bar he’ll explain how.

These are just a few examples of the nearly half a hundred speakers whom you can meet at the festival and who will question everything we thought we knew about the future. We hope you are ready, because we would like you to play an active role this year! You can even join the performers on stage to ask them your questions or engage in debate.
