Brain Bar House of Music Hungary

Whoever has stepped into the House of Music Hungary knows: this is not just a building - it is a world in itself. Japanese star architect Sou Fujimoto dreamed up a house for Budapest that blends almost seamlessly with the trees of City Park - its ceiling undulates, nature flows in through its glass walls, and suddenly, somehow, one sees the future with more optimism.

This is the fourth year we’re organizing our festival here, and that’s no coincidence: every time, the building shows a new face, yet always offers the same inspiring atmosphere. Here, openness and curiosity feel natural, and this is exactly the spirit that defines Brain Bar.

The House has won a series of international awards:

• Best Public Building in Europe, International Property Awards
• Main Architecture Prize, Architecture MasterPrize, USA
• Grand Jury Prize, MIPIM, Cannes

And in our hearts, it has been winning the title of “Best Event Venue” for four years now. It embodies everything that matters to Brain Bar: the future, technology, a love of nature, and beauty. At the same time, it provides the perfect backdrop for the experience we relive at the festival year after year.
