As a member of a seventh-generation winemaking family in Villány, Andrea Gere has been surrounded by vineyards and cellars since childhood. In 2023, she and her husband took over the leadership of the Gere Winery from her father. Last year she was also elected president of the Pannon Winemakers’ Guild. Inspired by the beneficial effects of grapes on the skin, which she discovered on a trip to Spain, she launched her own grape seed–based cosmetics brand, Andrea Gere Skin Care, and this autumn her new restaurant, A. GERE, will open in Villány.
