Is happiness an attainable - and smart - goal? Attila Oláh, professor emeritus at ELTE and head of the school's Positive Psychology Research Group, has spent over four decades studying happiness and wellbeing, flow experiences, psychological immunity, and coping strategies. As Hungary’s most well-known figure in positive psychology, he has authored several books and was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary in 2015.
