In addition to the game, writing also played an important role in his life, and eventually became his profession. His career as a sports journalist began at the age of thirteen. With his unwavering enthusiasm and love for sports, he is now a recognized journalist on the international stage, with his works appearing in The Guardian, Daily Mirror, and World Soccer. Bence's first book about the changing landscape of modern football, Rise of the Underdogs, was released this year.
