Domonkos Frey

A 23-year-old medical student who, alongside his studies, has been writing almost obsessively since high school. With surgical precision, he weaves scientific rigor into his unusual and dynamic stories. In his previously published shorter works, the novellas Odaát and Élet az életért, he explores moral questions that push the boundaries of existence, drawing unapologetically on his background in biology, chemistry, and physics. At Brain Bar, Domonkos examines the bioethical problems of humanising animal nervous systems. Alongside a conversation about Domonkos's new book, he and his wife, Réka Czuppon, will also speak on the subject of marriage.
