Is volunteering nothing but free work? If money wasn't an issue and you could do any job, what would you choose? The volunteers of the Amios Foundation each spend about 2 years of their university years visiting hospitals - not only for the children their purpose is to cheer up, but for each other and for themselves, too. The diverse group of 450 amigos includes lawyers, musicians, business leaders and doctors who have all found their personal purposes in volunteering at the organisation.
