Lendvai Balázs
Head of Pharmacology and Drug Safety Research, Richter
To get a drug onto the shelves and into patients' hands, it can take 10-15 years of preliminary experiments. Dr. Balázs Lendvai, a neuroscientist and physician, is responsible for conducting preclinical research to ensure that people receive only effective and safe medications. Before joining Richter, he spent 16 years working in brain research and spent time at a leading research institute in the USA. He currently leads the Richter Department at Semmelweis University.
