Few people possess as deep and extensive knowledge of the human psyche as Lilla Gerlinger. As a psychologist at the National Institute of Oncology, she worked with cancer patients for 8 years. Additionally, she volunteered at the Bátor Tábor (Camp of Courage) for ten years, and today she works at the Psychotherapy Department of Semmelweis University. She has been building the Trauma Center organization from the get-go and is now one of its leaders. She helps with serious issues using special therapeutic methods, such as the EMDR based on eye movements, and in her latest project, she leverages the power of VR to support patients suffering from auditory hallucination schizophrenia.
