Mercédesz Angyal

Harvard-Trained Health Economist

Since the dawn of humanity, we have been searching for the elixir that opens the gate to eternal life – and the good news is that today we really can live longer than before, and our quality of life can also improve more and more. Mercédesz Angyal, former postgraduate student at Harvard Medical School and scientific ambassador of the Year of Hungarian Science, is dedicated to researching ways of measuring quality of life. During her PhD training, she learned a great deal about how to measure a person’s quality of life, and how much quality of life matters in health economics analyses. At this year’s Brain Bar, together with her, we seek the answer to how science can help people achieve the highest possible quality of life.
