Péter Balogh, widely known as Petya Balogh, is one of Central Europe's most recognised tech figures. His career began in the early 2000s working on Nokia's WiFi product development team, after which he founded the mobile game studio PDAmill, which won international awards. In 2004, he co-founded NNG, developer of the iGO navigation software, which grew into a global team of more than 800 people with annual revenue exceeding $100 million. After stepping back from day-to-day operations, he has been an active angel and institutional investor, backing more than 100 startups and making a significant contribution to the development of the Central and Eastern European startup ecosystem. He is also widely known from the Hungarian version of "Shark Tank" (Cápák között), where his investments and mentorship have inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs.
