Petra Hoffman
Second-Hand Fashion Champion
Whether your goal is environmental protection or saving money, second-hand fashion is booming today. Thematic groups have formed on social media, apps and platforms have emerged for this purpose, and thrift shops are also experiencing a renaissance. Petra Hoffman, founder of Gardrób Community Market, is a key figure in this movement, firmly believing that most garments deserve a second chance. A former student of ELTE and MOME, and co-founder of Makers' Market Budapest, she will share her personal experiences at Brain Bar — who knows, by the end of the talk, you might be inspired to start your own second-hand treasure hunt!
