Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács

Prof. Dr. habil. Levente Kovács is an internationally recognised electrical and biomedical engineer, a Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the Rector of Óbuda University. He took over leadership of the institution at a young age — just 42 — in 2019, and his mandate as rector was extended for a further five years in 2024, through 2029.
