Since immigrating from Transylvania to Israel as a child, Robert C. Castel has worked as a cook and bookbinder, completed years of military service in Lebanon and other operational areas, been a commander of mountain rescue and diving teams, the police captain of the city of Tirat Karmel during the Gaza evacuation, and even dealt with missing soldiers and wild animal-related crimes. Later, as a university researcher and innovation consultant, he focused on the fields of military tech and geopolitics. Today he is a regular expert on numerous TV shows and podcasts, and in December 2022 he published his highly successful book “FüggÅ‘leges koporsó, Az orosz-ukrán háború - mítoszok nélkül” (in English: "Vertical Coffin, The Russian-Ukrainian War - Without Myths").
