StEFREM is one of Hungary's most popular vocal ensembles with one of its most distinctive sounds, founded in 2002 by Liszt Prize-winning conductor Tamás Bubnó. The group initially committed itself to cultivating Byzantine musical culture, but has since created a true musical crossroads where elements of classical music, pop, and folk music blend together.
