Viki Lábas

At the early age of six, the frontwoman of Margaret Island knew exactly that she wanted to pursue music. She first played the clarinet was an avid singer, leading her to be discovered by her founding bandmates at a talent show by Lake Balaton. Since then, their three-member ensemble has expanded with regular collaborators, won all possible Hungarian awards and has become a gold record holder several times, and Viki herself received the Petőfi Music Award a few years ago. She is socially sensitive, expressing herself not only through her lyrics but also by supporting good causes and helping others. She has spoken publicly on several occasions about the times in her life when she felt most vulnerable.
