Vilmos Csányi
Pioneering Ethologist
A legend in ethology and a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, who also spent years at the most prestigious US universities, Vilmos Csányi dedicated his life to studying human and animal behavior, as well as biological and cultural evolution. He has authored hundreds of scholarly articles on the subject, and he is perhaps one of the first Hungarian academics to bring science closer to us, ordinary people: he has written 30 books and regularly shares his thoughts in the largest national media outlets. His insights are worth paying attention to, as they open up entirely new perspectives: he believes humans are among the most demonic beings in the world, and extending life may not be worthwhile.
