Zoltán Bolek
President, Hungarian Islamic Community
For decades, he has been one of the leading figures in Hungary’s Muslim religious life, who himself converted to Islam in the 1970s. He has always been actively engaged in tackling important societal issues: he's been a civil guard, has run for a Parliament seat, and has organized medical and food aids to war zones since the '90s. As the leader of the Hungarian Islamic Community, he works on promoting the religion, advocates for the human rights of Muslims, and coordinates prison missions. Meet him at the Brain Bar, where we'll be asking him about the spread of Islam in Europe.
If you’d like to meet him at the festival and ask your most burning questions, grab your ticket or if you’re a student or a teacher, sign up for a free pass.
