Can Catholicism save academia?

Is it really a good direction to remove classical knowledge from education? What world are we headed to if students don’t even attempt to understand the thoughts of history's greatest minds?

Jeremy Tate is the co-founder of the Classic Learning Test, an alternative to the SAT and ACT, evaluating critical thinking with the help of classical literature and historical passages. He believes there's nothing wrong with standardized tests, as long as they don’t measure abilities with generic and uninspiring texts which have little to do with academic training. His goal is for more and more students to become deep thinkers aware of the history and philosophies that shape the world around them - and at Brain Bar, he told us how we might achieve this goal.
