More and more of us are aware that without bees, our planet would face unimaginable damages - but do we truly understand how intelligent these tiny creatures are?

Meet Lars Chittka, one of the greatest behavioural ecologists of our time from Queen Mary University of London. Having dedicated a career to bees, he's demonstrated that these incredible animals recognize human faces, display emotions, use tools, solve problems - and perhaps even possess personalities.

On September 26, he's coming to Brain Bar to show you how so much knowledge and so many emotions can fit into such small heads and to open your eyes to the dangers of wanting to know too much about bees.
