How does your brain work?

From dawn 'till dusk, you study as hard as you can, achieve the greatest breakthroughs at work, make thousands of decisions on which bus to take home or what to have for dinner, then go to bed to finally unwind. And no wonder you need that: all the while, your brain does heroic work to keep you awake and focused.

To explain what exactly happens in our heads in 24 hours, we invited Oxford’s neuroscientist Baroness Susan Greenfield to Brain Bar. Dr. Greenfield, an honorary doctor of 32 universities worldwide, has investigated many mesmerizing questions from what makes our identity ours to defeating Alzheimer's - but at Brain Bar, she guided us through the secret workings of our brains, from the moment we wake up to dreaming sweet dreams at night.
