Debates on euthanasia have been fiery and loud for decades in almost every country on Earth. In some, it is a criminal offence –and in others, euthanasia pods have been introduced to aid patients in ending their lives if they feel ready.
This September, Brain Bar's battle on euthanasia welcomes the first doctor in the world to administer a legal, voluntary, lethal injection, Dr. Philip Nitschke. On stage with him are Slomó Köves, the chief rabbi of the Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation, law ethicist János Frivaldszky and Judit Sándor, the Hungarian bioethicist most frequently consulted in Hungary on human and health rights and obligations.
